The NorthSTAR Telecommunications Network (NSTN) was created as a component of the PVAMU/NASA Network Resources and Training Site (NRTS) in 1996. The NRTS was established through a Cooperative Agreement between the NASA Goddard Space Flight Centers MUSPIN Program and Prairie View A&M University.
